This winter has been terrible. The snow and the cold temperatures have most certainly worn out their welcome. However the only thing that seems to make me forget about how miserable it’s been is a good, ole fashioned girls night. I’m talking champagne, dinner, girl talk, and board games. A few of us got together at our friend GL’s house a couple weeks ago and we brought along our dogs. We ALL have Bichons, with the exception of Brandy. Check out the cuteness…

A couple of Saturdays ago our group of friends got a lovely, last minute surprise – our dear friends Jonathan and Lacy were arriving in town from Houston with their newborn baby, Remy. We all gathered at Jill and Ben’s house to meet the little one. Cute is an understatement for this one – she was just as sweet and beautiful as can be. And my favorite part is how all of the guys seemed to hold her even more than the girls.

I was innocently trying to capture Sadie’s cute yawn, but when I looked at my images on my iPhone, I was shocked to find this mean monster.
One of the many things that I love about my job is that I’m responsible for researching, and often visiting, hotels around the country for the meetings we have throughout the year. This past week I ventured to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to check out a resort. The hotel was lovely, the accommodations were more than roomy (I had a two bedroom suite all to myself), and they even sent me a special treat to my room when I tweeted about my stay! Of course there was plenty of business to take care of too. As nice as it was, I’m so happy to be home. It snowed for the first time since 1989 and I was a full day late getting home, meaning I spent my Valentines Day in an airport. Here are the photos from my trip…
