Never Grow Up

On Saturday we celebrated
our beloved Dustin’s birthday.
He turned 31.
But from our party set-up…
you’d think he was turning 11.
Except for the buckets of beer.
We had an afternoon full of
summer fun.
Once the sun started to go down,
Birthday Boy still wanted to party.
He asked for an adventure,
so off to the casino we went.
We danced with strangers to a cheesy cover band.
And with each other.
I won 50 bucks on the dollar slots.
And then it was time to go home.
Other weekend treats included:
Spending time with a friend
who now lives in Austin.
Running into @jfarm
(Razorback basketball player)
outside of a bar.
And shuffleboard with my pal GL.
I was still feeling the fun
on Monday morning,
but it was all well worth it.
